We were delighted to get the go ahead to undertake the Church Floor Sanding & Restoration at Orpington Methodist Church.

The beautiful, exotic, herringbone flooring was a little worn due to the footfall of the premises. After making checks to ensure we knew exactly how much timber we had to work with, our restoration journey could begin!

The floors were fully sanded through all grits: Course, Medium & Fine. Then finally finished with our specialist machine: The Bona Flexisand (see equipment page here).

Once we were satisfied the floors were smooth, flat and scratch-free, it was time to begin protecting them.

We first sealed the floors with Loba Easy Prime (a very forgiving and problem-free primer) -much needed on this project due to the sheer scale and layout.

After the primer had cured, we applied a further two coats of Loba Fusion 2K Lacquer for maximum durability.
