We were instructed to sand and restore these original timber floorboards, which had been affected by wear and an ageing stained finish. The floor was fully sanded to remove the old coatings and prepare a clean, even surface.

Once sanding was complete, the floor was carefully sealed with three coats of ultra-matt lacquer. This finish was selected to provide durability while maintaining a modern, understated appearance.

The completed floor now has a clean, natural look with improved resistance to everyday wear, making it well suited to long-term residential use.
